This report documents an investigation into a localized phishing campaign on the Threads platform. The threat actor used a fake Touch ’n Go “Money Packet” QR code to lure victims to a newly established, Cloudflare-proxied credential-harvesting domain. The investigation extracted the payload, mapped the hidden infrastructure, and produced actionable Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) with an exceptionally low initial detection rate.

I am a Networking & Infrastructure Specialist with a core foundation in Computer Networking, actively developing expertise at the intersection of Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Electronics. My focus is on bridging physical hardware deployments, secure network architectures, and intelligent automation.

I am currently completing my Diploma in Computer Networking at University College TATI (UC TATI), and I recently finished my industrial attachment at Jabatan Perkhidmatan Teknologi Maklumat (JPTM). There, I supported enterprise-grade network operations, from deploying production-ready LAMP stacks on bare-metal Dell PowerEdge servers to executing core switch migrations across campus facilities.
